Welcome to Story Magic, a mobile application owned and operated by DreamEngine Studios (“DreamEngine,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Story Magic app, any related websites, content, software, features, tools, and services made available by DreamEngine Studios (collectively, the “Services”).
By downloading, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.
The Services are designed to be enjoyed by families and children, but account creation, subscription purchases, and parental controls are restricted to adults. You must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction to create an account, subscribe, make purchases, or otherwise enter into these Terms.
Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) DreamEngine Studios takes the privacy of its users very seriously. For details on how we collect and use data, please review our full Privacy Policy .
The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”) and other applicable privacy laws require that online service providers obtain verifiable parental consent before knowingly collecting personally identifiable information online from children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions).
We do not knowingly collect or solicit personally identifiable information from children under 13 without obtaining verifiable consent from that child’s parent or guardian (“Parental Consent”). If you are a child under the applicable age of digital consent, please do not attempt to register for the Services or send any personal information about yourself to us. If we learn we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child without Verifiable Parental Consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. Story Magic provides AI-native tools that allow users to create, generate, personalize, read, share, and interact with multimodal story content, including stories, images, and related media.

We are an app-first platform and may not maintain a public website for all Services. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, with or without notice, and without liability.
Limited Preview Features. From time to time, DreamEngine Studios may make certain stories, reading experiences, playback features, or other content available on a limited preview, promotional, or free-access basis. Such preview access is offered at our sole discretion and may be modified, restricted, or discontinued at any time without notice. Unless expressly stated otherwise in the app, limited preview access does not include story creation features, creator tools, or other premium functionality, which may require an active subscription or separate purchase.
STORY MAGIC USES ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TO GENERATE STORIES, IMAGES, AND OTHER CONTENT. WHILE WE APPLY MULTIPLE LAYERS OF SAFETY FILTERING AND QUALITY CONTROLS, AI-GENERATED CONTENT MAY OCCASIONALLY BE INACCURATE, UNEXPECTED, INCOMPLETE, OR IMPERFECT.
The Services are intended for creative, educational, and entertainment purposes. AI-generated content should not be relied upon as professional advice of any kind.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DreamEngine Studios is not responsible for errors, omissions, or unexpected results in AI-generated content. If you encounter problematic content, please report it through the app or contact us, and we may review and address the issue in our discretion.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false or misleading information, are used in violation of these Terms, or pose a safety, legal, or operational risk.
Story Magic is currently available only through Apple’s App Store. Any paid subscriptions, in-app purchases, or other paid features offered through the Services are purchased and processed through your Apple App Store account using Apple’s in-app purchase system and are subject to Apple’s EULA (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/). You acknowledge and agree that Apple, and Apple’s subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and that Apple will have the right to enforce these Terms against you.
We do not directly collect, process, or store your payment card details for App Store purchases.
If you purchase a subscription, you authorize Apple to charge the payment method associated with your Apple ID for the applicable subscription fees, taxes, and any other charges disclosed to you at the time of purchase. All billing, payment processing, renewals, and refunds are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple’s applicable terms, conditions, and policies.
Unless otherwise disclosed at the time of purchase, subscriptions automatically renew for successive renewal periods of the same duration as the original subscription term unless you cancel before the renewal date through your Apple account settings. Your subscription will continue to renew, and Apple will continue to charge your payment method, until you cancel.
You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple App Store account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the then-current billing period, and you will continue to have access to the subscription features through the end of that paid term. Except where required by law or by Apple’s policies, subscription fees are non-refundable, and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial subscription periods.
If you start a free trial or promotional subscription offer, you may be charged automatically when the trial or promotional period ends unless you cancel through your Apple App Store account settings before the end of that period. Any free trial, promotional offer, pricing, or subscription benefits may be modified or discontinued at any time to the extent permitted by applicable law and Apple’s rules.
We may change subscription pricing, features, tiers, or availability at any time. Any such changes will apply prospectively as permitted by applicable law and the App Store rules.
We may also provide limited-time or promotional access to certain content, including reading and playback features, at no charge during launch or testing periods. Any such limited preview access does not guarantee continued free availability and may require a paid subscription in the future. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, story creation features and creator tools remain part of paid subscription tiers even when certain content is available for free preview.
You retain ownership of the stories, prompts, text, images, artwork, uploads, and other content that you create, submit, generate, upload, or share through the Services (“User Content”), subject to the rights you grant to us in these Terms.
By creating, submitting, generating, uploading, posting, publishing, or sharing User Content through the Services, you grant DreamEngine Studios a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, transferable, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, format, publish, display, perform, distribute, and otherwise use such User Content solely as reasonably necessary to:

By choosing to share or publish User Content, you understand and agree that such content may become visible to others and may be accessed, viewed, copied, forwarded, reposted, or otherwise distributed by users or anyone with access to the shared link.
No Social Engagement: To maintain a safe environment, users viewing shared content cannot comment, like, or react to the content in any way through the app. The publisher of the content will only be provided with a rough estimate of the total number of users who have viewed the content within the app.
Any User Content you choose to share within the Services or via external links may not remain private. We do not guarantee the confidentiality of content you choose to share publicly or semi-publicly.
You are solely responsible for all User Content that you create, upload, submit, generate, post, publish, or share through the Services and for the consequences of doing so.
You represent and warrant that:
We do not use User Content, including stories, prompts, or uploaded photos, to train, fine-tune, or improve general AI models, except as expressly described in our Privacy Policy or with additional consent where required by law.
We retain User Content (including any uploaded photos and text prompts) only as long as necessary to provide the Services, and in strict accordance with the data retention and deletion timelines outlined in our Privacy Policy. We may remove, delete, or disable access to User Content in accordance with legal obligations, safety practices, and technical needs. We do not guarantee that User Content will remain available, recoverable, or stored indefinitely. You are responsible for preserving copies of your own content.
We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to monitor, review, screen, moderate, remove, restrict, unpublish, disable access to, or delete any User Content or account activity at any time, with or without notice, for any reason or no reason, including if we believe content or conduct:

We do not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy, quality, legality, or safety of User Content, and we are not required to pre-screen all content.
You agree not to use the Services or interact with them in any manner that:
(a) infringes, misappropriates, or violates the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights of any person or entity, including DreamEngine Studios;
(b) violates any law, rule, or regulation;
(c) is harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, fraudulent, deceptive, obscene, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable;
(d) exploits, endangers, or is inappropriate for minors;
(e) impersonates any person or entity or falsely suggests an affiliation, endorsement, or sponsorship;
(f) jeopardizes the security of your account or another person’s account, including by attempting to obtain login credentials, passwords, or other security information;
(g) violates the security of any network, system, platform, or service, including attempts to bypass authentication, access controls, encryption, or other security measures;
(h) uses bots, scripts, crawlers, scrapers, spiders, or other automated means to access, extract, monitor, or collect data or content from the Services except as expressly authorized by us;
(i) uploads, transmits, or distributes spam, malware, malicious code, scams, or harmful material;
(j) interferes with or disrupts the proper working of the Services, including by imposing an unreasonable load on infrastructure or attempting to probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities;
(k) copies, reproduces, stores, distributes, sells, commercializes, or exploits any substantial portion of the Services or content made available through the Services except as expressly permitted;
(l) decompiles, reverse engineers, disassembles, or otherwise attempts to derive the source code, models, algorithms, structure, or underlying ideas of the Services except where such restriction is prohibited by law; or
(m) uses the Services for any purpose not reasonably intended by DreamEngine Studios.
A violation of this Section may result in suspension or termination of your account and access to the Services.
Except for User Content you own, the Services and all related software, technology, designs, text, graphics, logos, interfaces, trademarks, service marks, and other content provided by DreamEngine Studios are owned by or licensed to DreamEngine Studios and are protected by intellectual property and other applicable laws.
You may not use, copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, display, publish, sell, license, or exploit any part of the Services except as expressly permitted by these Terms or by us in writing.
“Story Magic,” “DreamEngine Studios,” and related names, logos, and marks are the property of DreamEngine Studios or its licensors and may not be used without permission.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and your access to the Services at our sole discretion, at any time, without notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to a violation of these Terms or our Acceptable Use policy. Termination or deletion of your account does not automatically cancel any subscription billed through Apple, and you remain responsible for managing or canceling your subscription through your Apple App Store account settings.
THE APP AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." DREAMENGINE STUDIOS MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE ACCURACY OF AI-GENERATED CONTENT OR THE PERMANENCE OF DATA STORAGE. YOU USE THE APP AT YOUR OWN RISK.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DREAMENGINE STUDIOS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING DATA LOSS OR IP INFRINGEMENT CLAIMS ARISING FROM USER-GENERATED INPUTS.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
