At DreamEngine Studios (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), we value the trust of our users and their families. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our mobile application, Story Magic (the “App” or the “Services”).
Story Magic is currently distributed through Apple’s App Store for use on iPhone and other supported Apple devices.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date above and may provide notice within the app or by email where appropriate.
We collect only the information reasonably necessary to provide and improve Story Magic. Account creation is protected behind a parental gate.

Photo library, camera, and microphone access are OPTIONAL and protected by parental controls or a parental gate.
If voice input is enabled, audio is used only to generate text prompts using Apple’s speech recognition. Voice input is completely OPTIONAL.
You may sign in to Story Magic using Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google. If you choose to use one of these services, we may receive your name, email address, and an account identifier from the applicable provider to establish and authenticate your account. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of Apple and Google to understand their data practices.
We do not sell personal information.
We share information only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, maintain, and improve Story Magic.
For story creation, customization, and narration features, prompts, customization instructions, uploaded images used for hero character personalization, and story text may be processed by trusted third-party AI and media service providers solely to generate, personalize, or narrate story content. We do not share account information with these providers for this purpose.
We may also share limited information with trusted service providers that support the operation of the app, such as cloud hosting and storage providers, authentication and account management providers, analytics and diagnostics providers, and customer support tools, but only to the extent reasonably necessary to provide the Services.

The Story Magic app is owned and operated by DreamEngine Studios. Our App is designed to be enjoyed by families and children, with the aim of making learning fun through the process of creating their own custom content.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including measures such as encryption in transit and, where appropriate, at rest.

Story Magic uses AI tools to generate and personalize stories and the in-app experience based on the information you provide. A child’s age group, prompts, and uploaded images may be used to personalize stories. A child’s first name may be used by the voice buddy to provide personalized voice encouragement and instructions.
We do not use user content, including stories, prompts, or uploaded photos, to train or fine-tune general AI models, except as expressly described elsewhere in our policies or with additional consent where required by law.
